Camp Faculty

If you are going to be serving as a part of our camp faculty this summer, we want to start out by thanking you!  We are excited to see how God will use you and many others to change the lives of young people for His kingdom.

In order to provide a safe environment for our campers, staff, and faculty, each person who will be serving as a Camp Faculty is required to complete an online Faculty Background Check Application, which is linked at the bottom of this page.  This application needs to be completed no less than two (2) weeks prior to the beginning of any Mahoning Valley-sponsored event.  Your personal information is entered through a secure site, and background information is used only to determine eligibility to serve as a volunteer faculty member.  No financial records are researched, and your personal information is kept private even from Mahoning Valley's staff.  The information is required simply to confirm identity and obtain an accurate criminal background history.

Statements of Faith

• We believe Jesus Christ is God’s one and only Son and Lord of all creation.
• We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.  This means we believe the Bible is true and that the New Testament contains everything we need for faith and godliness.  
• We believe the Gospel that Christ died for our sins and that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus.  
• We believe that repentance and baptism are necessary acts of faith through which God pours out His forgiveness.  
• We believe the church is God’s creation.  
• We seek to restore the unity of the church by following the New Testament’s guidance for the church.  
• We believe what the Bible says about the virgin birth of Jesus, the bodily resurrection of Jesus and of those He saves, the reality of the final judgment, and the reality of heaven and hell.
