STATEMENTS OF FAITH

  • We believe Jesus Christ is God's one and only Son and Lord of all creation.

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Therefore, we believe the Bible is accurate and that the New Testament contains everything we need for faith and godliness.

  • We believe in the Gospel that Christ died for our sins and was saved by grace through faith in Jesus.

  • We believe that repentance and baptism are necessary acts of faith through which God pours out His forgiveness.

  • We believe the church is God's creation.

  • We seek to restore the church's unity by following the New Testament's guidance.

  • We believe what the Bible says about the virgin birth of Jesus, the bodily resurrection of Jesus and of those He saves, the reality of Heaven and Hell.

Mission Statement 

MAHONING VALLEY CHRISTAN SERVICE CAMP WAS FOUNDED IN 1943 TO TRAIN YOUNG PEOPLE FOR CHRISTIAN SERVICE. THE CAMP MINISTRY FOCUSES ON SUMMER YOUTH CAMPS AND YEAR-ROUND RETREATS. THE CAMP'S ORGANIZERS WORK TO MOTIVATE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN TO COMMIT THEMSELVES TO FULL-TIME CHRISTIAN SERVICE TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF MISSIONARIES, MINISTERS, AND OTHER SERVANTS OF CHRIST'S KINGDOM.
